FLIGHT ATTENDANT WENT BALLISTIC

I SUPPOSE IT IS BETTER THAN GOING POSTAL…HE DIDN’T GRAB A GUN AND KILLED A DOZEN PEOPLE…EVEN IF HE DID SOMETHING ILLEGAL AND COULD HAVE ENDANGERED PASSENGERS

But now he has sort of become a folk hero by pulling off what he did…reflecting what many of us would like to do with our jobs and tell off the company we work for and who has exploited us for a while.

Clearly everyone has a threshold of tolerance and once that is reached oftentimes people snap. The ability to keep one’s cool is not an easy thing. However, when it comes to flight attendants they should be thoroughly vested because the nature of their jobs would require them to act under extreme stress and pressure…imagine a plane crash and the role these flight attendants play.

Steven Slater, the JetBlue flight attendant who cursed out a passenger on Monday and slid down an emergency evacuation chute from the plane, left the Port Authority Police Headquarters at Kennedy International Airport on Tuesday morning en route to his arraignment on charges of reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.
