Who is Safed's Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu? As you recall, the Rabbi is a prominent religious Zionist leader who made a recent attempt to resume the Passover sacrifice. He is ultra-orthodox, and some consider his Jewish sect as the modern-day Pharisees.
Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu is a descendant from a long line of Kabbalist religious teachers. He is the son of Mordechai Eliyahu, who served as the Sephardi Chief Rabbi of Israel, and a spiritual leader of the Religious Zionist movement from 1983 to 1993. Mordechai Eliyahu was born in the Old City of Jerusalem, to Rabbi Salman Eliyahu, a Jerusalem Kabbalist from an Iraqi Jewish family.[1][2][3]
Rabbi Eliyahu and the Kabbalah
Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu is the Chief Rabbi of Safed, a small town high on the Galilee Mountains. It is said to have been founded by a son of Noah after the great flood. The city is the world’s center of the Kabbalah, a mystic branch of Judaism. The Kabbalah flourished here in the 16th century, and the Kabbalistic writings of Safed rabbis on the meaning of Torah. Both the Torah and the Talmud, which is said to be part of Torah, remain influential to this day.[4]
The Kabbalah consists of meditative, devotional, mystical and magical practices which were taught only to a select few. Kabbalah is regarded as an esoteric offshoot of Judaism. [5] Kabbalists believe that the Torah ("Divine Law") contains deeper, hidden truths, which only the spiritually developed person can decipher. The Torah is said to be couched in symbolic language with an inner meaning that reveals a blueprint for the universe, esoteric knowledge concerning God, the human being, and the relationship between them. According to Kabbalists, those people who interpret the Bible literally, only understand half truths or complete falsehoods. [6]
The Kabbalah was founded in Babylon, where heretical Jews refused to purge their religion of pagan influences. They instead adopted practices of Babylonian magic. Knowing that magic was forbidden in Judaism, they rejected the God of Israel, choosing instead to honor Baal. In order not to reveal their apostasy, they disguised their hidden faith as an “interpretation” of the religion, a cult now known as the Kabbalah. [7]
Kabbalist mysticism is the basis for Freemasonry, Rosicrucianism, the Illuminati, Knights Templar, and many other occult organizations. The fact that Satanic occult groups base their religion and practices upon the Kabbalah speaks volumes. The "mysticism" of the Kaballah is demonism. [8]
Zionist Jews and Their View of Defending Themselves
Since Zionist Jews have adopted the Kaballah, it has ultimately fueled the Zionist fervor in the Middle East. This same fervor has gained state-sanctioned revenge against the Arab people. The battle between the Zionist Jews and the Arabs has been going on for thousands of years. The violent nature behind the words that fuel the battle is more easily understood once we know about their participation in occult activity. Many unknowing of the spiritual aspect of this feud, Israelis question the use of violence toward the Arabs, as you will see in these examples.
For instance, most recent and most subdued of the examples, Rabbi Eliyahu instructed residents not to rent rooms or houses to Israeli Arabs. In an interview with BBC, a reporter interviewed an 89-year-old Jewish man that moved to Safed after fleeing the Nazis during the Second World War. Now he has been condemned by the rabbi for renting part of his house to three Arab students. "I went through the Holocaust," he says. "I know how much we suffered as Jews because of anti-semitism, so I cannot accept such an opinion. The rabbi's salary is paid by the state, so when he expresses opinions like this it is like he spitting on the same plate that feeds him," he declares. [9]
In another example, Rabbi Eliyahu distributed a newsletter to synagogues around the country, that he proposes "hanging the children of the terrorist who carried out the attack in the Mercaz Harav yeshiva from a tree," according to to Haaretz News. "I'm not talking about individual people in particular. I'm talking about the state," Eliyahu wrote. "[The state] has to pain them to the point where they scream 'Enough,' to the point where they fall flat on their face and scream 'help.' Not for the sake of satisfying the need for revenge, but for the purposes of deterrence." [10] Perhaps they have taken this action too far.
According to a May 30, 2007 report in The Jerusalem Post, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu advocated "carpet bombing the general area from which the Kassams were launched, regardless of the price in Palestinian life." Eliyahu is quoted saying that "If they don't stop after we kill 100, then we must kill a thousand." And, "if they do not stop after 1,000 then we must kill 10,000. If they still don't stop we must kill 100,000, even a million. Whatever it takes to make them stop." [11]
Zionist Rabbi Yousef Falay, who dwells at the Yitzhar settlement on the northern part of the West Bank, wrote an article in a Sept. 2006 Zionist magazine under the title "Ways of War," in which he called for the killing of all Palestinian males refusing to flee their country, describing his idea as the practical way to ensure the non-existence of the Palestinian race. "We have to make sure that no Palestinian individual remains under our occupation. If they escape, then it is good; but if anyone of them remains, then he should be exterminated."[12]
