Pope John Paul II: Why the Pope is Far from a Saint

The Vatican has brought out the coffin of the late Pope John Paul II in the crypt under St Peter's Basilica in the presence of high-ranking Catholic clergy. The coffin is now placed near St Peter's tomb, and will be on display before the main altar. A beatification ceremony is being prepared for Sunday, May 1. Beautification is the first step towards declaring the late pontiff a saint. [1]

As Pope John Paul II has been idolized by the faithful Catholic followers of the world, there are major details intentionally overlooked in the mainstream media. Even if the information was disclosed, only a select group would understand its implications.Let's take a look at how this information could blow his beautification out of the water.

Darwin, Pierre Tielhard de Chardin, and Pope John Paul II

Through the ministry of Pierre Tielhard de Chardin, his false scientific study did much to cast doubt on Biblical Christianity. He was one of the key individuals promoting Darwin's Theory of Evolution, and was at the ground floor of being accepted by the Catholic church. This Jesuit priest was involved in many missing links cases around the world, all based on false scientific proof. Teilhard ran into serious problems with the Roman Catholic Church, because of his unorthodox beliefs. He was censored by the Church, and he could no longer teach or publish his theological and philosophical views. He was even 'exiled' from France by the Jesuit order.

Tielhard became the hero of some elite Protestants. Then on October 23, 1996, Pope John Paul II issued a statement to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences in which he endorsed evolution as being "more than just a theory" and claims about the origin of this universe and the appearance of life forms on Earth.[2]

The Church that once rejected evolutionary thinking, accepted its hypothesis - largely do to the Pope. His acceptance, consequently, caused Pope John Paul II to create code changes to the Vatican II constitution in 1983, which would enhance ecumenical outreach.[3]  It launched a movement that would go hand-in-hand with his plan to create a universal faith.

Chris Pinto goes on to explain that Ecumenism plays a key role in the pagan religions of the world, and are largely based on its unity precepts. These pagan beliefs fit nicely in with the New Age movement, since they also long for the world to be at peace as one. Many New Agers claim that Pierre Tielhard de Chardin did more to influence them than any other figure, and he has become known as the Father of the New Age Movement. It was his desire to bring about final spiritual unity, and reconstruct the Christian faith.

Other Violations of the Christian Faith

Pope John Paul II kissed the Koran, took the mark of Shiva on his forehead, and allowed the Dalai Lama to remove the cross from a Catholic altar to set up an idol of the Buddha for him and his monks to worship.  These things are all well documented, and widely published.  It was John Paul II who met with religious leaders from all over the world at Assisi, Italy in 1986, with Muslims, Hindus, snake charmers, American Indian shaman, witchdoctors, Voodoo priests, and a whole host of pagans with whom he prayed for “peace.” At one point, he said to them, “We are all praying to the same god.”[3]

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Rev. 21:8

Teilhard's evolutionary teachings parallel Eastern Mysticism and Pagan theology. He also taught that the god to be worshiped is the one who will evolve out the human race. When Pope John Paul II accepted the teachings of evolution and Tielhard, he thereby accepted the teachings of the Antichrist.

Glenn Beck: Propogating Lies about Bonhoeffer

Dietrich Bonhoeffer has become the hero of many Christians, but it is all based on the spin of Eric Metaxas. Bonhoeffer is being viewed as a devote Christian, yet he actually held unorthodox views of Christianity. He was one of the fathers of the "death of God" teachings, and he consistently had a low view of the Bible, considering a lot of it as a myth. He denied the deity of Jesus Christ, and did not believe in the resurrection. Bonhoeffer attended a Communist seminary in NY City, and was in on the ground floor of the ecumenical movement.

Ironically, Metaxas is promoted and endorsed by purpose-driven, seeker-sensitive Rick Warren.  That should tell us something in and of itself!  In the interview with Warren, Metaxas says proudly that Bonhoeffer is a “Barthian,” as if this is a good thing.  Karl Barth was endorsed and promoted by Roman Catholic Pope Pius XII as being as great a theologian as Thomas Aquinas, who was a pagan Catholic that taught mysticism and contemplative prayer.[1]

An interesting tidbit about Metaxas is that he has aligned himself with the leaders of dominion theology and the prophetic movement. In Rick Joyner's website, there was an ad for a conference held in January 2009 on Kingdom Business. Eric Metaxas was one of the keynote speakers for this conference, along with Lance Wallnau. In his write-up, it states that he has written for Chuck Colson (ecumenism's man of the hour), the New York Times (has for decades had a soft spot for Communism[2]), and Christianity Today (Billy Graham's liberal magazine). 

Eric Metaxas presently attends Calvary/St. George’s Episcopal Church, which is a member of the Anglican Communion, and he lives in Manhattan, New York. In this interview, he provides his testimony.

Metaxas essentially hijacked Bonhoeffer, and rewrote him in such a way that he would appeal to today's evangelicals. The question lies with whether he tried to intentionally deceive evangelicals into believing Bonhoeffer was someone he wasn't. Is his book being used by dominionists to help fuel the radicalism needed to pull off the next artificial move of God - and essentially lead the Church back to Rome? We'll have to see how the Metaxas spin will have an affect.

Evangelical Leaders Discuss Obama's Christianity & Religious Tolerance

On ABC's "This Week," Rev. Al Sharpton, Eboo Patel, Dr. Richard Land, and Steve and Cokie Roberts have a roundtable discussion on a number of issues. In this part of the exchange, they discuss civic discourse and tolerance in the public arena. Rev. Richard Land said that it's "just flat nuts" to believe the president is a Muslim or that he wasn't born in Hawaii. Land heads the public policy arm of the Southern Baptist Convention, and said that he considers Obama "a very typical 21st Century mainline Protestant."

Jerry Falwell: Should We Warn or Praise?

Was the late Jerry Falwell’s overall influence to the Independent Baptist movement good or bad?

Falwell’s spiritual compromise and error was not late in coming and was not small by any measure. It was evident even by the 1970s that the man had made a 180 degree turn from his earlier stand and that he was determined to conduct a broadly ecumenical ministry. He was doubtless sincere in his desire to “bring America back to God,” but sincerity didn’t keep Moses from being judged by God when he struck the rock instead of speaking to it. “And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully” (2 Timothy 2:5).

In 1999 I issued a warning report entitled “Jerry Falwell: The Billy Graham of Independent Baptists.”

Though Falwell claimed to be a fundamental Baptist, in reality he was a groundbreaking ecumenist who helped pave the way for the end-time harlot “church.” He happily worked alongside Roman Catholics, Charismatics, unregenerate Jews, Mormons, and religionists of many stripes who are staunchly opposed to the doctrine that he professed to hold in his Baptist church.

In a sermon preached in Evansville, Indiana, on December 12, 1978, Falwell said, “I believe God has called us in this last quarter of the 20th century to bring respectability to fundamentalism” (cited from Don Jasmin, Why Do Fundamental Schools Go Apostate, 2007, p. 171).

That was the same unscriptural objective that was announced at the founding of the New Evangelical movement in the late 1940s. When Christianity becomes respectable in the sight of this sin-cursed world, it has left its Biblical moorings. The Lord Jesus Christ is Almighty God, but He wasn’t respected when He came into the world 2,000 years ago, and He is not respected by the world today. Christ’s apostles were certainly not respected by the religious crowd or by the world at large. They were mocked, hounded, persecuted, and killed.

One of Falwell’s first concrete steps toward compromise was in the late 1970s when he decided that he needed to influence politics, and toward that end he formed the Moral Majority. 

This was a dramatic change of his doctrine. In the 1960s Falwell had said, “Nowhere are we commissioned to reform the externals. We are not told to wage wars against bootleggers, liquor stores, gamblers, murderers, prostitutes, racketeers, prejudiced persons or institutions, or any other existing evil as such. I feel that we need to get off the streets and back into the pulpits and into our prayer rooms” (“TV Evangelist Jerry Falwell Dies at 73,” USA Today, May 15, 2007).

By the late 1970s Falwell had made an 180 degree change in doctrine with the formation of the Moral Majority. By 1986 the organization had 500,000 active contributors and a mailing list of six million people. At that time, Falwell said that Catholics made up the largest constituency (30%) (Christianity Today, February 21, 1986).  (Read more)

Ecumenism: Unity is the Key to the Survival of Christianity in the Middle East

Vatican City, April 12, 2011 (Zenit.org) - Christian unity is key for the survival of the Church in the Middle East, just as it was for the first Christians of Jerusalem, according to the secretary-general of the synod of bishops, Archbishop Nikola Eterović.

The archbishop made this reflection at the third meeting of the  Special Council on the Middle East of the Synod's General Secretariat, which took place at the end of March. The Vatican gave a report of the meeting today.

This council is working with the conclusions from last October's synod, with the aim of assisting the Pope in preparing the postsynodal apostolic exhortation.

The meeting was held March 30 and 31 in the Vatican.

Archbishop Eterović highlighted the guidelines Benedict XVI gave during the synod. He also referred to the present situation in the Middle East, which calls on Christians to follow the example of the first community of the Church, in which all gave a witness of communion, even while living the difficulties stemming from the novelty of the life they had embraced.

There was further reflection on the present situation of the Churches of the Middle East, and there was an exchange of opinions on the present political-social situation in this region, the final communiqué from the meeting reported.

"The precarious situation due to socio-political movements is of keen interest to the Churches, which share the joys and concerns of the citizens," the note affirmed.

It emphasized an urgent need for "free and fruitful dialogue with other religions and with the legitimate representatives of the civil powers."

Tony Blair To Speak At Southern Baptist, Union University

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will be the keynote speaker for Union University’s 14th annual Scholarship Banquet, Oct. 3 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, Tenn. Union is the oldest institution affiliated with Southern Baptist life and quite welcoming of this prominent Fabian Socialist. This is evidence that the Church is being easily fooled by the error in the ecumenical movement. (Read announcement)

The President’s Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge

The President has issued a call to college presidents, faculty, staff -- and especially students -- to lead interfaith service initiatives on their campuses. It involves committing to a year of interfaith service initiatives in a spirit of interfaith and inter-cultural cooperation.[1]

To reflect back onto President Obama's inaugural address, he said:

"For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus, and non-believers. We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this Earth; and because we have tasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emerged from that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself; and that America must play its role in ushering in a new era of peace."

What is really going on here with this campus challenge? In order for President Obama to reach the UN Millennial Goals, he is using the American college campuses and students to get the job done. By using religious pluralism and promoting Interfaith dialogue, the globalists hope to reduce conflicts between the religions and achieve mutually agreed upon goals.

In order to achieve an new era of peace, exclusivity will have to be brought to an end, such as Biblical Christianity. It teaches that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and truth. The true Church argues that it is necessary to suppress the falsehoods taught by other religions. The Globalist planner believe that this will never do!

Religious pluralism believes that it can stop all competition between religions and foster religious cooperation. It is summarized as an attitude which rejects focus on irrelevant differences, and instead gives respect to those beliefs held in common.This is a suitable plan for the unbelieving globalists, but it doesn't jive with born again believer; this is because all differences are relevant.

According to Eboo Patel, "This movement [the campus challenge] has been growing in significant ways on campuses across the country, at new places like University of South Carolina, Berea College and University of Tampa.

Everyone who professes to be a Christian would consider it very seriously, for separation from the world has always been one of the evidences of God's work of grace in our heart. Those who have really been born of God's Spirit have always been separated from the world, whereas those who are Christians only in name - always refuse to "Come out and be separate." In conclusion, being part of an Interfaith program like this is compromising.

Feminist Warns Against Wrong Reading of Biblical Texts on Women

(Christian Post) “If the language of the Bible is not understood in today’s terms, some passages can be used to allow excluding women from church leadership,” said Patricia Sheerattan-Bisnauth.

Head of the World Communion of Reformed Churches’ program for Gender Justice and Partnership, Sheerattan-Bisnauth pointed to biblical passages, such as 1 Corinthians 14: 33-34 where it says to keep women silent in church, that “can harm women when they are used to justify enforced submission of women to male authority.”

In the wake of International Women’s Day on Tuesday, WCRC is supporting an appeal from a Christian communication organization for increased attention on the effects of words and images used in the media against women. (Read more)

Note: The World Communion of Reformed Churches is in an ecumenical alliance with the World Council of Churches. The program that Sheerattan-Bisnauth heads up works to accomplish the U.N. Millennial Goals, in that part of its focus is on HIV/Aids and social justice. They plainly dishonor God by changing the truth of God into a lie.

Lutherans Seek Full Communion with Catholic Church

In an interview with The Portal,  a new publication devoted to the ordinariate of Anglican communities received into the Catholic Church, reported that the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith has begun to receive requests from Lutherans to establish a similar canonical structure that would allow them to enter the Catholic Church while retaining aspects of the Lutheran heritage. “The Holy Father will do all he can to bring other Christians into unity” Father Hermann Geissler [1] 

The publication also states:

Pursuing the question of Unity, we were reminded that unity is not just an option, it is a duty. Jesus prayed “That they may be one.” Unity is the express will of Our Lord. When Christians are divided, they are unfaithful. Christians must be united so that “the world may believe.” The two go together, Mission and Unity. Fr Hermann said, “The Ordinariate promotes unity and is a powerful instrument for unity, it will help Christians to be evangelists.” [2]

I think Martin Luther would roll over in his grave!

Luther taught that salvation was a free gift of God's grace in Jesus as redeemer from sin. The Catholic Church teaches that salvation comes through membership in the Catholic church. Luther's theology challenged the authority of the Pope by teaching that the Bible is the only source of divinely revealed knowledge. Luther opposed sacerdotalism by considering all baptized Christians to be a holy priesthood. [3]

Obama Reappoints Religious Freedom Ambassador

 

(CNN) President Barack Obama has renominated his stalled pick for international religious freedom ambassador, likely extending a controversy over the pick and over the White House’s approach toward religious freedom issues.

Obama first nominated Suzan Johnson Cook, a prominent Christian pastor, to the post in June. But a Senate Foreign Relations Committee vote on her confirmation dragged on until December, as one senator reportedly put a temporarily hold on the nomination.

Obama nominated Cook again on Monday.

Some have faulted the Senate for declining to confirm Cook, while others have criticized the White House over the nomination, saying she lacks the experience for the job and that the administration has shown little urgency in filling the post, which has been vacant for two years.

The position of ambassador at large for international religious freedom was created in 1998, when President Bill Clinton signed the International Religious Freedom Act. The law, which also mandated a commission to  draw up annual reports on the state of religious freedom around the world, sought to make promoting religious freedom a more central goal for U.S. foreign policy. Dr. Cook has a long list of credentials, including a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in New York City, NY.[1] Allow me to tell you about her school.

The Union Theological Seminary is best known for its Communist activity. It is an extremely liberal school, and was funded by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. He helped choose the site for its location, and gave a gift of $1,083,333., which was 25% of the goal that had to be raised. The seminary was founded in 1836 under the Presbyterian Church, and is currently affiliated with nearby Columbia University.

In the book "Billy Graham and His Friends" by Dr. Cathy Davis, she uses a quote from Manning Johnson, a former Communist official, who was the Communist candidate for U.S. Representative from New York 22nd District in 1935. He explains one of the tactics discovered by early Communists, which would destroy religion. It was to infiltrate the Church in influential educational positions. By using this tactic,

"The plan as to make the neck of the funnel through which thousands of potential clergymen would issue forth, carrying with them an ideology and slant which would aid on neutralizing the anti-Communist character of the church, and also use the clergy to spearhead important Communist projects."

 The ecumenical movement depended upon theological seminaries like this one. Wilhelm Pauck, a professor of Church History at Union, wrote that schools like his seminary were important in the development of ecumenical theology. He knew it would shape the future of religious bodies in America.[2]

It is interesting to note that Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a student and also taught for a short time at Union. He brought his views of ecumenism to Union, and they provided to him a broader view of taking ecumenism to the world Church. [3]

Lastly, Union Theological Seminary was prominent in nurturing the World Council of Churches.[4]

It will be interesting to learn what the new Ambassador for Religious Freedom will bring to our country.

The Lausanne Movement and the NAE

Billy Graham is one of the most beloved and respected evangelists of the 20th century. He is also one of the most compromised Christians of our time. His involvement in the ecumenical movement is well documented, he's a 33rd degree Freemason, and he has several questionable friendships in high, crooked places. He has publically endorsed the National Council of Churches and the World Council of Churches, both known Communist fronts working toward the one world religion.[1] He has embraced Universalism unashamedly in his old age.

Over 30 years ago, as Graham started preaching internationally, he united all evangelicals in the task of evangelizing the world. One of the most influential documents in modern Evangelical Christianity is the Lausanne Covenant, and was written and adopted by 2,300 evangelicals at the International Congress on World Evangelization in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The covenant is a Christian religious manifesto promoting world-wide Christian evangelism. The first Lausanne conference, held in 1974, brought together 2,700 Christian religious leaders from over 150 countries and was called by a committee headed by Graham.

The National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) is a supporter of the Lausanne Covenant. The goals of the Lausanne Covenant reflect the concerns of the U.N. Millennium Development Goals. [2] If a denominational headquarters is a member of the NAE, then it is advancing the goals of World Socialism and the final world government.

This leads me to believe that the National Association of Evangelicals have long supported ecumenism and their goal of unity. As you read in the last post, Leith Anderson, President of the NAE, has been appointed to the Presidents new faith council. It is important to note that Anderson signed the Manhattan Declaration, recognized as an ecumenical document/pact between leaders of socially liberal denominations.[3]

Anderson didn't think to stop there. He also signed the interfaith document "A Common Word Between Us and You" in 2007.  This document opened interfaith dialogue between Christians and Muslims. Among the organizations backing the dialogue were the World Council of Churches (WCC), and the World Islamic Call Society (WICS), a network with about 600 affiliated Muslim bodies. It calls for peace between Muslims and Christians and tries to work for common ground and understanding among both faiths, in line with the Qur'anic commandment to "Say: "O People of the Scripture! Come to a common word as between us and you: that we worship none but Allah" and the Biblical commandment to love God, and one’s neighbour. [4]

I realize that many of the local churches do not adhere to what is taking place within their national denominational headquarters. The problem is that the financing of the denominational headquarters is funded by the local churches. The local church keeps the monster breathing. I regret to say that it will eventually gain strength and trickle down to the local level. This is a difficult time for the informed to live in. 

Obama’s New Faith-based Council

The White House named its new council for the faith-based office late on Friday afternoon.

Some big mainline Protestant names here, including Presiding Bishops Hanson and Jefferts Schori of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and Episcopal Church, respectively. Also of note: Leith Anderson, head of the National Association of Evangelicals; [1] Dr. Frank S. Page, president emeritus of the Southern Baptist Convention; Father Larry J. Snyder of Catholic Charities USA; the Rev. Joel C. Hunter, senior pastor of Northland, a Church Distributed; the Rev. Jim Wallis, president of Sojourners; and Richard Stearns, president of World Vision.[2]

President Obama appointed Joshua DuBois, a former associate pastor and advisor to the President in his U.S. Senate office and campaign Director of Religious Affairs, to lead this office. "Joshua understands the issues at stake, knows the people involved, and will be able to bring everyone together – from both the secular and faith-based communities, from academia and politics – around our common goals," said President Obama.

 

The Office of Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships will focus on four key priorities, to be carried out by working closely with the President’s Cabinet Secretaries and each of the eleven agency offices for faith-based and neighborhood partnerships:

• The Office’s top priority will be making community groups an integral part of our economic recovery and poverty a burden fewer have to bear when recovery is complete.
• It will be one voice among several in the administration that will look at how we support women and children, address teenage pregnancy, and reduce the need for abortion.
• The Office will strive to support fathers who stand by their families, which involves working to get young men off the streets and into well-paying jobs, and encouraging responsible fatherhood.
• Finally, beyond American shores this Office will work with the National Security Council to foster interfaith dialogue with leaders and scholars around the world. [3]

The importance of this last priority is the catch. One of the responsibilities of the National Security Council is to help meet the UN Millennium Development Goals.[4] This new council will be used to speed up the progress being made to create a world government and the one world religion. The National Council of Churches and the World Council of Churches, both a known Communist front, have already adopted the Millennium Development Goals.

Southern Baptist Convention has resigned from a new interfaith coalition

(RNS) A top leader of the Southern Baptist Convention has resigned from a new interfaith coalition, saying some fellow Southern Baptists felt it was inappropriate for him to support the building of mosques.

Richard Land, who heads the SBC's Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, told organizers at the Anti-Defamation League that "many Southern Baptists share my deep commitment to religious freedom and the right of Muslims to have places of worship."

At the same time, "they also feel that a Southern Baptist denominational leader filing suit to allow individual mosques to be built is 'a bridge too far."'(Read more)

God's Holy Mountain: The Temple of Satan

There is presently a kingdom being built on earth for the Antichrist, and we are nearing its completion. Before Lucifer can rule, the leaders of the world must bring unity in diversity. Boundaries can only be removed and bring about a world government, when the people of the world can build bridges between faith and spirituality. This has long been the goal of Freemasonry, Knights of Malta, Unitarianism, the  Baha'i faith, the goals of the occultic organization of the Theosophical Society, as well as the Vatican. Their desire is to show the world that there are multiple, valid pathways to God, and to bring about a leader who will rule.

This interfaith approach has already taken root in Israel. These important steps have been accomplished:

• A modern Sanhedrin was established in October 2004, and they follow a multi-religious approach in terms of scriptures, such as Isaiah 56:7: “For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” This verse is interpreted in error to lend credence to a multi-religious way by recognizing unbiblical faiths.
• Several interfaith organizations have been created to open dialogue between the people of different  faiths. Founded in Israel, there is the Interfaith Encounter Association, and the Elijah Interfaith Institute, just to name two. Prominent religious leaders are appointed and participating in both of these groups, and they meet together during the year.

One important project of the Interfaith Encounter Association is called God's Holy Mountain. Based on part of their website vision statement, they want to transform:

"... the Temple Mount from a place of contention to a place that is truly God's Holy Mountain, a house of prayer for all people (Isaiah 56:7). It is a vision of fulfilling the ultimate mission of Judaism, Christianity and Islam and the original purpose of the Temple, for the entire world to worship the One God together in peace." 

"The image shown depicts a rebuilt Temple in peaceful proximity to the Islamic and Christian shrines in Jerusalem, in fulfillment of the purpose of the Temple to manifest the One God to the entire world. This vision is absolutely not about compromise for Jews, Muslims, or Christians. Rather it is about radical fulfillment of a basic tenet of Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, and other religions of the world, to manifest the One God on earth by worshipping the One God together in peace. It is about a transformation of the Temple Mount to reflect the ultimate prophetic character of God’s Holy Mountain.[1]

From the Bible we know that the Third Temple, which will be built in Jerusalem, will be the temple of the false Messiah. In this way he will try to ensure that the Jews do not accept the once for all sacrifice of the true Messiah on the cross. Furthermore, he will use this temple to declare himself to be God in the Holy of Holies (2 Thess. 2:4; Dan. 11:31; Matt. 24:15-21). By then, the temple of God will have become the temple of Satan.[2]

The Interfaith Encounter Association works as part of the Partner Cities Network of the Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions (CPWR). The IEA is also a member in the Committee of Religious NGOs at the UN and a founding member of the Partnership Committee for the United Nations Decade of Interreligious Dialogue and Cooperation for Peace. [3] I suspect this temple will be the only one that will gain approval to be built.

Ecumenism and the Three Threads of the Charismatic Renewal

Cardinal Leon Suenens ( 1904-1996)

The ecumenical house of deception has many windows. The following finding connects the ecumenical movement of the Roman Catholic Church with that of the Charismatic movement. If it were not for Cardinal Suenens, the Charismatic Renewal would never had entered the Catholic Church. Once it did, leaders from the Pentecostal, Protestant Charismatic, and Catholic church felt a need to bring the three streams of renewal together in a more formal way. With 50,000 registered attendees, this was the biggest and most inclusive gathering of "baptized in the Spirit believers" in modern history. With Cardinal Suenens as the papal liaison, the 1977 Kansas City Conference on Charismatic Renewal, " was the largest and most inclusive ecumenical assembly in the history of American Christianity." Almost half of the participants were Roman Catholics. This new body of Charismatics were not separatists, but rather reformist in character.[1][2]

According to Dave Hunt, the guiding hand behind the Charismatic movement, who likewise used it to further Rome's ecumenical aims, was Cardinal Leon Joseph Suenens. He was a recipient of the ecumenical  Templeton Award for Progress in Religion in 1976, and was given a special mandate to oversee the worldwide charismatic "renewal movement" in the Catholic Church, an assignment that was reconfirmed by John Paul II.

The Cardinal was influential in the General Council formed in the early 1970s by Shepherding and Protestant/Catholic charismatic leaders. It was at the General Council when Cardinal Suenens provided a blueprint plan for an alternative agenda.[3] He believed that once there was communion in the spirit, there would eventually be physical unity. [4] The Council then began to guide the ecumenical charismatic movement for years from behind the scenes. The minutes for its May-June, 1977 meeting reveal that a "covenant relationship" was entered into with Cardinal Suenens, which included the following:

"We, as a Council, are committing ourselves to work together with the Cardinal for the restoration and unity of Christian people and world evangelization in projects to be mutually agreed upon. In each project, headship, authority and method of functions will be mutually determined by the Cardinal and the Council in the light of the requirements of each situation."

Dave Hunt continues, "World evangelization" with Suenens? What naiveté! Cardinal Suenens hosted and gave the opening speech at the Second World Conference on Religion and Peace in Louvain, Belgium in 1974, which received Pope Paul VI's blessing. Delegates were particularly impressed with the important role that religious unity will play in establishing the coming world government. A continual call was sounded for "a new world order." Under Catholic leadership, the Louvain Declaration stated,

Buddhists, Christians, Confucianists, Hindus, Jains, Jews, Muslims, Shintoists, Sikhs, Zoroastrians and still others, we have sought here to listen to the spirit within our varied and venerable religious traditions...we have grappled with the towering issues that our societies must resolve in order to bring about peace, justice, and ennobling quality of life for every person and every people....

We rejoice that...the long era of prideful and even prejudiced isolation of the religions of humanity is, we hope, now gone forever.

We appeal to the religious communities of the world to inculcate the attitude of planetary citizenship ....[5]

Examples of Compromise

As you may recall from one of my earlier articles, Kathryn Kuhlman did not like to conduct her services without Catholic priests on her platform.  Her personal secretary wrote:

"Nothing thrilled Kathryn more than to have thirty or forty Catholic clergymen, especially if they wore clerical collars or, better yet, cassocks, sitting behind her while she ministered. Somehow it seemed to lend authenticity to what she was doing — and helped create the proper climate of a trust and understanding which was so necessary for a miracle service." (Daughter Of Destiny, p. 221.)

Benny Hinn also has a connection with the Catholic Church, and has been invited for a private audience with Pope John Paul at the Vatican.

Reunification

Deception has long been used by the Vatican to lure the "separated brethren" of Protestantism back into the fold, but uniting all religions under Rome, as Revelation 17 indicates. The means and motivation behind doing this has long been part of Freemasonry. According to Dr. Cathy Burns, in her book Billy Graham and His Friends, Cardinal Suenens was a Freemason.

The interesting part of this resurgence in the tongues movement is that both Freemasons and Jesuit priests have been on the sidelines providing encouragement and guidance all along. When the parts of the Roman Catholic Church were baptized in the Holy Ghost, they did not turn their back on the Catholic church, it only provided more fuel. Suenens stated:

"Since I have had this [charismatic] experience, my allegiance to the Holy Father as the Vicar of Christ in the world has been heightened and strengthened. My appreciation for Mary as the co-redemptress and mediatoress of my salvation has been assured. My appreciation of the mass as the sacrifice of Christ has now been heightened." Final Comments

My only desire for doing research on the Charismatic movement is to completely understand how and why tongues for today are not valid manifestations of the Spirit. I received the baptism many years ago, and could never receive a valid explanation for my experience after I left, other than what I saw in the Book of Acts. I did walk away from it at one point in my walk with Christ, but only returned to it again later. Once I learned I was deceived by my involvement with the Word of Faith movement, only after leaving it, I began to dissect every experience I had and balance it with Scripture. When I find information about the Roman Catholic Church, the baptism experience, and their direct connection with the ecumenical movement, how could anyone not have their eyes opened and continue down the same path?

False Ecumenism: Reunification with the Roman Catholic Church

"We are well aware, however, that we are still far from that unity for which Christ prayed and which we find reflected in the portrait of the first community of Jerusalem," the Pontiff acknowledged. "What we long for is that unity for which Christ himself prayed and which by its nature is manifested in the communion of the faith, of the sacraments, of the ministry." Though Christians are still far from the unity that Jesus prayed for at the Last Supper, resignation and pessimism are a lack of trust in the Holy Spirit's power, says Benedict XVI.  "Our duty," he said, "is to continue passionately on the path toward this goal with a serious and rigorous dialogue to deepen the common theological, liturgical and spiritual patrimony; with reciprocal knowledge, with the ecumenical formation of the new generations and, above all, with conversion of heart and prayer."

Comment: Apparently Pope Benedict continues to long for unification of the Church under Rome. Although the Church blindly associates with the Pope, there will always be some troublesome things wrong with the Roman Catholic church. For instance, do you see the headgear in this picture above? It is nothing more than the old Philistine Dagon Fish Mitre [headgear]; the fish god which was thoroughly destroyed by God (Judges 16:23; 1 Samuel 6:1-7). 

Pictured to the right is the Goddess Cybele in her Dagon Mitre, sprinkling holy water. Cybele was worshiped in Rome and was called the great queen mother goddess. The term, "Queen Mother Goddess" is directly equivalent to the accursed Pagan "Queen of Heaven" (Jer 7:18; Jer 44:17, 25). It is very likely that the Virgin Mary may have been taken from the Goddess Cybele. It is also important to note that she was followed by a priesthood of castrated males. [1][2][3]

The location of the Basilica of Saint Peter, is very close to the former site of Cybele's main temple. Vatican City is northwest of the Tiber River and is not one of the Seven Hills of Rome. The Temple of Cybele was  on the Palatine Hill in Rome. Palatine Hill is the centermost of the Seven Hills of Rome and is one of the most ancient parts of the city. The Basilica is opposite to the traditional seven hills of Rome, which is in the confines of Rome.

Rome has long been viewed as Babylon. Catholic apologist Karl Keating admits that Rome has long been known as Babylon. Keating claims that Peter's statement "The church here in Babylon ... sends you her greeting" (from I Peter 5:13) proves that Peter was writing from Rome. He explains further: "Babylon is a code word for Rome. [4]

Roman Catholic Church today ceaselessly seeks to bring all mankind under its control.

Pope Benedict's Goal for Universal Brotherhood is the Same as the Theosophical Society

Marking the 97th World Day of Migrants and Refugees on Sunday, January 16th, Pope Benedict XVI spoke of the "migration experience" of the Church and hoped for a future where all people consider themselves part of "one human family." The goal, he said, is that of "forming a single family ... with all the differences that enrich it, but without barriers, recognizing ourselves all as brothers." [1][2]

Pope Benedict's message bears striking similarities to that of the occult organization called the Theosophical Society. One of the goals of the Theosophical Society is to form a nucleus of universal brotherhood without distinction of race, creed, sex, caste, or color. Theosophy holds that all religions are attempts by the Brotherhood to help humanity in evolving to greater perfection, and that each religion therefore has a portion of the truth.[3] [4] Put simply, the Theosophical Societies goal is for total unity--unity of thought, unity of action, unity of political systems, unity in charitable endeavor, unity of ownership, and unity of religions. You are part of the universal "one." You must share your country, your land, your resources, your possessions, your thoughts, your achievements, even your loves of these with the brothers.[5]

But this brotherhood does not stop there. In May of 2008, the Director of the Vatican's Observatory, Fr. José Gabriel Funes, said in an interview that believing in the possible existence of extraterrestrial life does not contradict belief in God. The Argentinean Jesuit priest astronomer gave the interview titled, "The Alien is my Brother,"[6] and it made big news among those who wait for full UFO disclosure.

And lastly, the concept of universal brotherhood is an adopted goal of the Socialist party. Based upon the Socialist Labor Party of American website, one of the Marxist goals is as follows:

"... the Socialist Labor Party of America appeal to the workers of all colors, creeds and national origins, and to all persons who recognize the evils of capitalism, to join with us in our efforts to bring a speedy end to the criminal capitalist system and to create the economic and social conditions for freedom, equality and universal brotherhood by establishing the free society of Socialism, thereby eliminating the cause of racial prejudices.  

Jesus said: “Who is My mother, or My brothers?” And He looked around in a circle at those who sat about Him, and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.” Mark 3:31-35 NKJV

John Paul II & His Narrow Path to Sainthood

Pope Benedict XVI is poised to move his predecessor John Paul II a step closer to sainthood in the coming days. A beatification ceremony in the Vatican capital, which could attract crowds of up to 1 million people, is being planned for May 1st. Although the Roman Catholic church would like to remember him for his good works, let's look at where he hit the mark.

• Pope John Paul blocked the inquiry of pedophile friend who abused 2000 boys, not to mention the other boys who have been involved in scandals. [1]
• Pope John Paul II allowed a Shiva priestess to create the traditional Shiva mark on his forehead. Lord Shiva is the controller of life and death.[2]

• The doctrine of Papal supremacy refers to the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church that the pope, by reason of his office as Vicar of Christ and as pastor of the entire Christian Church. The title implies that he has the same power and authority that Christ had over the Church.
• John Paul II frequently and clearly reaffirmed the importance of spiritual ecumenism since 1993.[3] The Ecumenical Movement is a plan to bring churches of all denominations, religions, and cults, and ultimately bring them together as one World Church.
• Pope John Paul II kissed the Muslim Koran, which denies Jesus as the Son of God.

• The Pope endorsed the work of Jesuit Priest Teilhard de Chardin, who said “A general convergence of religions upon a universal Christ who fundamentally satisfies them all: that seems to me the only possible conversion of the world, and the only form in which a religion of the future can be conceived.”[4]In other words, he agreed that an universal Christ was the only way to bring about one religion of unity.
