All the talk about the Muslim Brotherhood by Glenn Beck and Lt. Gen. Boykin has had me wondering if it was all propaganda. The way Glenn was talking about the end times, made me even more suspicious about the lies he may be promoting for the globalist media machine. My thoughts here are that if the "world" is talking about the end times, then the media is trying to manipulate the public.
WikiLeaks cables show Omar Suleiman, Egypt's new vice-president and formerly a leading figure in the country's intelligence system, has long tried to portray the Muslim Brotherhood as the 'bogeyman.' US officials have consistently responded skeptically to the Egyptian government's dire warnings about the Brotherhood. [1]
We were told that the Muslim Brotherhood played a small role in the protests and that the vast majority of them were secular, young, and craving "change." It was only certain parts of the media that made their presence ominous.
The Muslim Brotherhood, on their official website, claimed that the Western media was portraying their role with ignorance.[2] The image that they would want to be portrayed is that of a “heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried al-Qaeda as a perversion of Islam.” The site indicates that they are "moderate, pro-democratic group that struggles to voice the will of the people and uphold their rights."[3] Far from that scary group Glenn was talking about.
A recent report says that the Muslim Brotherhood intends to form a political party once democracy is established. [4] They have participated in elections before, with no success.[5] Of course that dictator they had may have had something to do about that.
The Muslim Brotherhood is being used as a smoke-screen to divert our attention away from other things that are taking place. The U.S. and Egypt have more reason to fear the globalists, than we do the Muslim Brotherhood.
