HEADLINES – JULY 4TH, 2013

UNPRECEDENTED MARCH ON WASHINGTON TURNS VIOLENT

After the crushing defeat of Barack Obama last November and the not so seamless transition; Sarah Palin moved into the White House and so did gloom and ruin. Within a week of her inauguration there was a thunderous Stock Market Crash.

It happened on a Thursday; Friday the banks were closed because it was a holiday anyhow; but came Monday and there was a run on the banks. The lines of people waiting to get in would turn the corners around the blocks everywhere and anywhere in America. Banks not only ran out of money but angry depositors frustrated by what they perceived to be thievery set fire and looted dozens and dozens of banks across the country.

Inexperienced and opinionated President Palin called in the National Guard to maintain order. This was followed by a period of repression where there were newspapers, radio and television stations confiscated by the Federal Government under Palin’s orders. She explained that it was necessary because the “LIBERAL MEDIA WAS INCITING RIOTS”.

President Palin didn’t have to wait for the media to incite any riots. A coalition emerged between the NAACP, AARP, AFLCIO, MOVE ON, HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN AND A FEW OTHERS. The keynote speaker was to be Keith Olbermann at the event which was of course scheduled to take place at the Lincoln Memorial and around the pond, Olbermann never got to address the crowd.

What the authorities did not envision was that more than four million seniors, blacks, labor union members and gays descended upon Washington in a protest to Sarah Palin’s tyrannical measures to repress the media and end all Social Security payments.

As millions of directionless people walked and carried signs the anger and frustration began to build up. By late morning the crowds were headed for Federal Buildings like the Department of Labor and the Treasury. The crowd simply overwhelmed the guards and took over the buildings in a sixties style “sit in”

President Palin then ordered the taking back and the arrest of these people whom she called “unpatriotic, socialist traitor-atheists” and the consequences this action by Palin brought about was the death of a couple of dozen seniors and demonstrators as water cannons and rubber bullets were turned on the demonstrators. The crowd simply grew angrier as rumors circulated and they would see dead bodies on the streets.

In one spontaneous and unstoppable push, more than 50,000 people surrounded the White House and actually penetrated the safety perimeter. They were being mowed down by the hundreds but they kept on coming and finally they reached the guards shooting at them and killed them. The windows and doors of the White House were dislodged from their frames and President Palin took refuge on the second floor and barricaded herself in one of the family quarter’s bathrooms. Eventually the crowd reached the second floor and they heard the loud noise of a gun going off. President Palin is said to have placed the rifle into her mouth and pulled the trigger.You die by the sword if you live by the sword...one protester commented.

The few remaining news organizations that were not shut down reported this riot and the taking over of Washington as very similar to the taking of La Bastille by the French during the French Revolution.

America lies in ruins, the product of greed and intransigent ideologues, fundamentalist Evangelical theocracy advocates and a failure of the economic system to keep a fair distribution of wealth. Democracy as we knew it had long given way to purchasing the politicians by the corporations and the rich and all that was left was hungry, jobless and angry Americans who “WANTED TO TAKE THEIR COUNTRY BACK”

Sharon Angle’s Second Amendment Option became a reality; only it was not the ultra-right bearing the guns but the middle class, the seniors, the blacks, the gays and anybody who was liberal progressive.

DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN…ONLY THAT IT IS A VERY REAL POSSIBILITY. WE HAVE TO TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THE DIRECTION OUR COUNTRY IS HEADING AND CONSIDER OUR OPTIONS, CHANGE A LOT OF MINDS AND FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, STOP THIS INSANE STAMPEDE TO THE RIGHT BY EXTREMIST IDIOTS.
