I feel a bit disgusted with myself for feeling a little sorry for this politician. He's Stewart Stephenson. Up to today he was the Scottish transport minister. He has had to resign over snow bringing much of central Scotland's road network to a standstill earlier this week. It turns out that he could have done more to inform the public of the situation.
I don't live in Scotland but I assessed the situation by looking out of the window and noticed.....that everything was white!
My worry is that if politicians are resigning because of the bad weather in the winter, does that mean they will try and get the credit for a sunny day in June?
