DECLARE YOUR CANDIDACY, SAY SOMETHING STUPID, THEN HIDE

AFTER ALL, YOU ARE THE TEA BAG PARTY CANDIDATE AND THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DO

During the last Presidential campaign after the noise of the convention died down and Sarah Palin had a couple of tragic interviews it was clear that this woman was not fit to hold public office. The Republican party kind of recoiled and contemplated the possibility that they had made one major error, one big, gargantuan fuck up so they tried to muzzle her…keep her away from microphones and cameras so that she wouldn’t put her foot in her mouth again. It worked. People soon forgot that she was an intellectual light weight and that she had very radical ultra conservative ideas.

You see, the Republicans are counting on the collective amnesia of the American voter. They are sure that voters will not even think about the failed policies of the Bush years. They are sure that nobody is going to hold them responsible for the economic mess…because if they turn it around and say that it is President Obama’s fault people will not think about it too much and accept it as fact.

The same or it is pretty much the same with these new fangled Tea Bagger candidates. They declare they are candidates running under the Tea Bag Party banner, they say something stupid and then go into hiding. No, it is not just Palin, it continued with Rand Paul, then Sharon Obtuse Angle, then Joe Miller, then Christine O’Donnell. It is a pattern that merits observation because they are counting on our inability to think, to put two and two together, that we are going to vote for them out of desperation and frustration. Not so fast cowboy…we the voters have brains and not all of us are gullible and forgetful.

How dare reporters ask questions, how dare they not submit those questions in advance? Who do they think they are?

I don’t know if what I am saying will hold true come this November…it remains to be seen…we have to wait until Wednesday, November 3^rd to see if Americans are indeed feeble and gullible.
