They climb the argan tree because they want to eat the fruit, which is like an olive. Farmers follow the goats as they go from tree to tree. Not because they think the goats are funny and want to send pictures of them to their friends on facebook, but because the fruit has a nut inside, which the goats can't digest, so they spit them up and poo them out. The farmers then go through the spew, spit and poop to collect them. They then turn the nuts into Argan oil, which they use for cosmetics and cooking oil. Wouldn't you just know it the tree is an endangered species because of the greedy farmers and the stupid goats. "Daddy, where did all the trees go"?....."We ran out of goat shit".
